About the Event
Dayna Stephens is one of the elite saxophonists in New York City and the world. He has performed and recorded with a who's who of other top jazz musicians, including Kenny Barron, Ambrose Akinmusire, Julian Lage and Gerald Clayton.
Dayna is preparing to take an unprecedented two-year break from performing, and this Takoma Station show will be his last before that break. He will bring his current New York band and a whole host of original tunes. His band consists of Emmanuel Michael on guitar, Rafael Enciso on bass and Miguel Russell on drums.
