About the Event
This Saturday at Takoma Station we welcome back the sister and brother saxophonists Ebban and Ephraim Dorsey. These Baltimore-based siblings have been playing together since they were 10 and 11. They are now in their twenties an are tearing up the Baltimore-DC jazz scene. This is what the future of jazz looks like.
Both Ebban and Ephraim have already had experience playing with Gary Bartz, Kamasi Washington, Warren Wolf, Benito Gonzales, Kenny Garrett, Tia Fuller, Wycliffe Gordon, Allison Miller and Sean Jones, among others.
On Saturday, their band will consist of Ebban on also sax, Ephraim on tenor sax, Troy Long on keyboard, Rayah Thomas on bass and Devron Dennis on drums.
