Get ready for a wonderful evening of Latin jazz. Roberto Villeda is an up and coming Latin jazz pianist, organist, composer and educator. He is originally from Guatemala and currently resides in Washington DC. His background includes Jazz, Bossa Nova, Afro-Latin, Neo-Soul and Classical music, resulting in a variety of styles to be represented in his compositions and arrangements. He has played with many of the DMV’s jazz greats and is currently a member of the Blackbyrds.
Roberto's band consists of Fran Vielma on percussion, Juan Navarro on guitar, Michael Paxton on saxophone, Mike Pope on bass and Lucas Asby on drums
