Veteran saxophonist Noah Preminger and guitar prodigy Max Light join forces for of evening of original works and musical mastery with their quartet.
Preminger is a major player on the New York scene, graduated from the the New England Conservatory, has released 12 albums as leader, and has recorded or performed with Ben Monder, Billy Hart, Dave Holland, Fred Hersch, Dave Douglas, Frank Kimbrough, John Hébert, Victor Lewis, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Billy Drummond, George Cables, Roscoe Mitchell, Eddie Henderson, Kim Kass, Rob Garcia and Julian Shore, among others.
Max Light Max Light won 2nd place in the presigious Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Guitar Competition in 2019, judged by Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Lionel Loueke, Russell Malone, Lee Ritenour, Chico Pinheiro, and Stanley Jordan. His debut recording was released later that year and he has gone on to critical acclaim and is in high demand as a sideman in New York, performing with Christian Sands, Dan Weiss, Donny McCaslin, Jeremy Dutton, Kaisa Maensivu, Jason Palmer, Jon Gordon, John Ellis, Colin Stranahan, Kevin Sun, and Bobby Watson, among others.
