About the Event
Muneer Nasser, the son of the late great bassist Jamil Nasser, is a multi-instrumentalist, jazz historian and author. He plays the trumpet, flugelhorn, piano, congas, bass and various other instruments. And now, after a long hiatus, the Muneer Nasser Quintet is back! It features a world class set of musicians: Muneer Nasser (trumpet & flugelhorn), Elijah Easton (tenor saxophone). Christopher Stiles (piano), James King (bass) and Julian Berkowitz (drums). Special Guest: Herm Hopkins (trombone)
