A rapidly rising young trumpeter, Paul Bailey brings an A-list team of players to Takoma Station, including Elijah Easton (saxophone), Allyn Johnson (keyboard), Herman Burney (bass), and Nasar Abadey (drums). A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory, Paul went on to earn his Master's Degree in jazz studies from Howard University just this year. 

Paul has performed with jazz artists Joe Lovano, Lewis Nash, Ben Williams, Tia Fuller, Terrell Stafford, Brian Lynch, Cyrus Chestnut, Christian McBride, and Marcus Miller. He has also played with R&B artists Larry Graham, Faith Evans, Raheem DeVaughn, Eric Benet, Eric Roberson, Kenny Lattimore, and Monica. Paul has also done work in the gospel world by playing at various churches as well as with renowned gospel artists Yolanda Adams, Kierra Sheard, Erica Campbell, and Richard Smallwood.  Paul's multi-genre experience and focus influence his approach to music and gives him a unique sound, something all musicians strive for.
